Hey guys. I hope this is alright for our purposes. What I want us to use this as is a way to share information by uploading research, websites, and ideas about the project. Assignments for ourselves and others can be posted here as well.
Heitner mentioned the importance of novels, plays, short stories, and poetry in any research of literature. I figured we could base our research on that as well as any subsections we learn about the nature and importance of Dreams in literature. I remember from my Young Adult Literature class that the teacher viewed English Literature as a type of American Literature and therefore not broad enough for the title of World Literature. Unless people can find better examples than Jane Eyre in British Literature, I think we should focus on other areas of the world.
As it is the case with unpublished teachers, stroking egos is important in retaining good grades. I expect all of us to be up to speed in Heitner's book on the matters of the conscious as well as dreams.
